The present dissertation analyzes the logics and practices of the informal operators in Mozambique, specifically the micro-importers commonly known as mukheristas. The study is supported by two theoretical frameworks, namely: rationality diverse, proposed by Hugon (1999, 2000) and the theory of reasoned action, presented by Fishbein and Ajzen (2010).
