In readiness for the 2015 general elections in Nigeria, Project Restoration International, a disability rights initiative, held a one-day voters' sensitization seminar on March 26, 2015 in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital. Community Led Total Sanitation (CLTS) is a community mobilization and management process that empowers communities to take action on the practice of open defecation. Diarrhoea which is a major killer disease in Nigeria is a direct consequence of open defecation and poor hygienic practices.
