On February 15 - 16, 2013, Prof. Dr. Angkana Tongpoon Patanasorn, Deputy Dean for Academic and International Affairs of Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Khon Kaen University kindly presided over the opening of “Esaan Development Fair” at Khon Kaen University. The Esaan Development Fair, the final event for the IFP program, served as a formal closing for the IFP program in Thailand before it officially closes in June 2013.

The IFP Program in Thailand in partnership with the Thai Fund Foundation organized the “Resource Mobilisation and Proposal Writing Workshop” for the IFP fellows and representatives from local development agencies based in the Northeast on March 9-15, 2013.
The objective of the workshop was to build capacity of the local development agencies in the Northeast of Thailand in preparation for the possible receding funding from the foreign donors.
