IFP Alumni workshop in Kampala, Uganda

A workshop for the alumni of the Ford Foundation International Fellowships Program (IFP) in Uganda took place on October 5 – 8, 2012 at Colline Hotel in Mukono near Kampala. The workshop focused on strengthening the alumni association, mobilizing resources and exploring the idea of setting up a Savings and Credit Cooperative (SACCO) as an investment arm of the alumni association. Musikilu Mojeed Now John S. Knight Fellow at Stanford

Musikilu Mojeed learned early how journalism could effect change. In high school, he wrote about teachers taking a shortcut through a fence – an act for which students were punished.
