The IFP Portraits Page features personal essays written by fellows and alumni from around the world who have decided to share with us their passion for social justice, and their journey to an advanced degree.
We invite all fellows and alumni to submit stories, reflections, photographs and videos related to your background, your studies abroad and your current work. These stories will be read by our global audience.
We ask our contributors to bear in mind the IFP theme of "origins, journeys, and returns" when writing a Portrait. Please try and keep your essay limited to 1000 words or less, if possible.
HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR IFP PORTRAIT:
Kindly send an email to Rachel Clift, Communications Officer, at rclift-fordifp@iie.org that includes the following content:
- Full Name
- Country of Origin
- University Attended
- Degree Obtained or Expected
- Completion Date
- Your essay (1,000 words max) attached as a Word document file. (Text only; please do not insert photos into this document.)
- At least one photo, attached as separate JPEG file(s). We prefer "action" shots (for example, images of you at work, with the local community, etc.) but portrait shots are also welcome.
We will confirm receipt by email. Your IFP Portrait may be edited before it is posted. Please allow several weeks for your Portrait to be added to our website.
